ACHIEVEMENTS

The reality is that I learned to surf late in my life. Around when I was 26 and when my father passed away I decided that life waits for no one. So I moved to Rio de Janeiro where I started surfing everyday. That’s where I realized I loved bigger ocean conditions. I always liked setting myself goals that would force me to become the person I wanted to be so I thought to myself which is the biggest wave in the world and surfing that wave became my goal.  I started training harder and harder and that is where I met a lot of the guys that are my teammates now. I trained 3 years before tackling nazare and then Lucas Chumbo was cool enough to take me into the ocean and tow me into the waves that later changed my life. I then wanted to learn even more about rescue driving and specialize in Tow in. 6 seasons later that’s where I am. Still learning from the best and trying to never leave my buddies behind.
