An ambitious young woman, Hermine is not your typical big wave surfer or jet ski pilot. Yes, she is one of just a handful of girls tackling Nazaré’s heavy waves. But, as if that wasn’t enough, her non-conventional background, roundabout route into surfing, and hungry attitude set her apart from her peers. Hermine grew up in the French countryside, where she developed a passion for motorsports. That changed seven years ago when she discovered surfing on a visit

to Hawaii and moved to Hossegor, French surfing’s Mecca, to pursue her newfound passion. Hermine spent the past seven years there to master surfing, especially in big waves, a discipline that combines her two passions. A

waterwoman at heart, she quickly established herself at the top of her sport. Hermine travelled to Nazaré at the end of 2023 to spend a week discovering a new spot and training in challenging conditions. But, not unlike her gallic ancestor Obelix, she fell inside the magic potion’s caldron and decided to dedicate herself to surfing Nazare big waves with her Team. She makes this magical place her new home and has the chance to share this journey with her life and tow partner
